Pete Eliason is the founder of Eliason Financial, established in 2003, and brings over 27 years of experience advising high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and families. As lead advisor, Pete specializes in designing and implementing sophisticated wealth strategies tailored to clients with complex financial lives, integrating investment management, tax efficiency, estate planning, and retirement strategy into a cohesive long-term plan.

Pete has extensive experience working with clients navigating significant assets, liquidity events, and multi-generational wealth considerations. His approach emphasizes disciplined portfolio management and the thoughtful use of advanced planning techniques to preserve, grow, and transfer wealth efficiently.

With a strong focus on estate and retirement planning, Pete helps clients align their financial decisions with their long-term goals, legacy objectives, and risk tolerance. He manages portfolios for individuals, businesses, and foundations, ensuring each strategy is customized and adaptable to changing market conditions and client needs.

Pete earned his finance degree with a concentration in financial services and business administration from the University of Wyoming. He further advanced his expertise by earning an accreditation in trust and estate planning from Cannon Financial Institute in North Carolina.

He holds his Series 7 and 66 securities registrations, is a registered principal holding his Series 24, and is insurance licensed, allowing him to incorporate life and health insurance solutions into comprehensive wealth and estate planning strategies. The Series 24 designation—held by a relatively small percentage of advisors—reflects an advanced level of regulatory knowledge, supervisory responsibility, and industry leadership.

Pete was named to the Barron’s “Top 1,200 Financial Advisors” list in 2015. The ranking recognizes top advisors in each state based on criteria including assets under management, revenue, regulatory record, and overall quality of practice.
